Paul Pearce Electrical were looking for someone to handle their day to day IT requirements and part of that process was a redesign of their existing website.
They needed help with sourcing and installing a number of new PC’s, along with advice and installation of security and backup programmes to ensure they were safe online. A new website was designed with SEO as it’s priority. Their existing site had been built long before SEO and didn’t register on any search engines. It was important to get Paul Pearce Electrical not only onto the first page for local electricians but to have them at the very top.
The site has grown over the last 12 months to include new services Paul Pearce Electrical now provide including thermal imaging and solar PV installations.
The site was built with an easy to use content management system and includes functionality such as:
- high visibility contact details;
- ability to easily add new products and services;
- a contact form for new and existing clients to contact them;
- search engine optimised pages;
- website hosting.
In February 2015, Paul Pearce came to me for help as their existing inventory system was not working for them. I wrote a new application utilising their existing barcode scanner to allow them to track all incoming and outgoing inventory with the ability to easily add new inventory and and staff members themselves.
